Here is where to start. Get online and look at what homes are selling for in your area.
The closer to your home and the more similar to your home the better. Once you have a few homes sold within the last few months, within a smallest range as possible, and similar to your home in age, square feet, beds, baths, acreage, HOA’s, and any other variable that may add or subtract value to your home you have an idea of where to price your home.
How do people know that my home is for sale.
Yard signs, internet, postcards, emails, and word of mouth.
All of these are ways people find homes for sale. The more people that know about your home for sale the quicker you can get an offer and go to closing.
Paperwork
No matter if selling with an agent or your own paperwork will be a factor.
You will need disclosures and a purchase agreement at a very minimum.
